Swiminc is excited to honor Coach Callahan’s 25 years of dedication and the excellence of Worthington’s aquatic programs. For a number of years the Worthington Pool has needed additional room for dry land training, athlete education and expanded space during aquatic events. The way we are now capable of training our athletes has completly changed. Our first large meets showed us how important this addition is for the comfort of the athletes and spectators alike. The Worthington Natatorium is now setting the standard for smooth running and entertaining meets. The new large screen, dot matrix scoreboard donated by Thompson-Cunningham Insurance Agency in Worthington and Motorists Insurance Companies, has been an eye-popping addition. With the ability to include athletes names, pictures and video, all are impressed with the new information and entertainment provided.
The following is general information regarding our Championship Hall project. If you have questions, would like to volunteer or would like to pledge a donation, please contact fund raising chairman, Paul Reeder,

About Swiminc: Swiminc was incorporated in 1953 and began operations with the construction of its first outdoor pool on the campus of Thomas Worthington High School in 1954. The 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. Since the construction of its original pool, Swiminc has added two additional outdoor pools, and in 1972 built a natatorium for year-round use. The entire pool complex is known today as the C. David Howell Worthington Pools Complex, in honor of C. David Howell, who was a driving force behind the formation of Swiminc and the construction of the pool complex.
