Lifeguard Instructor Courses:
The purpose of this course is to train instructor candidates how to teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding classes.  In addition to the basic lifeguarding class, instructors will also be able to teach the following American Red Cross Courses:

Waterfront Lifeguarding          Waterpark Lifeguarding          Shallow Water Attendant

Basic Water Rescue         Lifeguard Managment                CPR/AED for the
                                                                                              Professional Rescuer

  Administering Emergency                 BloodBorne Pathogens Training:
               Oxygen                               Preventing Disease Transmission

Prerequisites:

*Must be 17 by the last day of class

*Fundamentals of Instructor Trainer
Certification (to be taught in class)

* Complete the LG written exam with a score
of 80% or higher.  Show competency in the
pre-course skills and scenario evaluations
