Learn to Swim Program

The objective of the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program is to teach children and young teens to be safe in, on, and around the water. Aquatic and personal water safety skills are taught in a logical progression through six different levels.

The Fine Print

Due to the nature of our scheduling, there are no make-up sessions and there are no refunds. Outdoor classes are held rain or shine – we will instruct out of the pool during inclimate weather.

This information is provided within Jackrabbit – the program you have used to register for class. Visit the Parent Portal for important updates and news in the event of any class schedule changes.

Homeschool Swim and Play Program

Ages 6yrs - 9yrs

Looking for a fun, educational way to incorporate physical activity into your homeschool routine? Our Homeschool Swim and Play Program is the perfect blend of learning, exercise, and fun, specifically designed for children ages 6-9.

  • Tailored Instruction: Each 60-minute session includes 30 minutes of swim
lessons customized to your child’s current abilities. Our instructors focus on
essential swimming skills, helping children develop at their own pace in a safe
    and supportive environment.

  • Skill Reinforcement through Play: Following the lesson, children enjoy 30
minutes of supervised playtime in the pool. During this time, they can practice
their new skills through fun games and activities, building confidence and
independence in the water. Playtime activities are designed to reinforce skills
learned during instruction, encourage teamwork, and promote creativity
    through water-based games.

  • Small Class Sizes: With a 2:10 instructor-to-student ratio, your child receives
focused guidance and plenty of individual attention.

  • Social Interaction: The program offers an excellent opportunity for
homeschoolers to connect, make friends, and learn teamwork in an engaging
    aquatic environment.
