Important Course Info
We offer a Blended Course here at Worthington Pools. This is a three part course that must be completed in order. You must be 15 years of age by the conclusion of Part Three to graduate. Upon completing Part Three, you will receive a CPR/AED Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification that is good for two years.

Tuition Reimbursement
Want to be trained for free?! Work with Worthington Pools for 100+ hours as a Lifeguard this season and we will reimburse your tuition. Interested? We will interview you while you complete you training. Email: lori.ave@worthingtonpools for details.
Part 1- Online
Prerequisites

Must be 15 years old by the end of Part Three

Water Skills (see Part Two)
This section covers the knowledge needed to provide care and service as a Lifeguard.

Part 2- Land Skills
Prerequisites

Completed Part 1

300 yard continuous swim

2 minute hands-free tread

timed retrieval of a weighted object
This section covers cardiac emergencies and first responder skills.

Part 3- Water Skills

Must be 15 years old by the end of Part Three
Plan to be in the water most of this session. Participants will review and take the Lifeguarding Exam. An 80% or better is required to pass.

Class Schedules & Registration
Five is the minimum number of students required for each in-person class. Without this quorum, students will be refunded and prioritized in scheduling for the next class.
